Frutteto Italia Organic Wild Blueberry Jam is gently cooked at low temperature, in small batches

Frutteto means ‘orchard’ in Italian as it is in the Tuscan hills near Florence that the jams are produced. Handpicked, fully ripe, organic wild blueberries are sourced mainly from local orchards. Of artisan quality, Frutteto Italia Organic Wild Blueberry Jam is gently cooked at low temperature, in small batches to preserve the fresh blueberry flavour, vitamins, minerals, fibre content and aroma. Unlike the traditional way of cooking jams and conserves, which can destroy the goodness with harsh heat.

Fresh blueberries are known as a superfood because they are highly nutritious and contain lots of powerful antioxidants. They are high in vitamins C and K and the mineral manganese which helps the body process cholesterol. All the fruit used is certified organic and is rigorously tested to ensure there are no residues of pesticides or of PFAS ‘forever’ chemicals.

Ingredients: 184 Organic wild blueberries (Vaccinum myrtillus), organic grape juice concentrate, organic lemon juice, gelling agent: fruit pectin. Made with 100g of wild blueberries per 100g of fruit spread. Contains naturally occurring sugars from fruit only.
